Howdy. I'm making this entry mainly to post footage of the alpha version of the technical demo of my game. There are still some other systems to introduce, but thus far, I've gotten almost everything crammed into it. So far I've implemented the following into the technical demo: - Reading books. - Buying and selling items.
- Equipping different armors.
- Music.
- Hotkey items.
- Item interactions (picking up items).
- Branching dialogue, with trading system integration. I'm in the middle of beefing up the outlier systems before I bring them over, those being the combat system, stat/skill systems, and the questing system. There is a working version of all of them, however, they are still in a janky prototype stage. While this is still technically a prototype, I want them to be a lot more elegant programmatically, like the other systems before I bring them into the demo and start showing them off. Until then, please enjoy this footage and a PDF copy of a fictional book that you can currently read, in the game.
